No one wants to see The Undertaker retire, but everyone is also curious about when and how it might happen. In recent years, he hasn't been at his best in the squared circle, but his "Boneyard Match" with AJ Styles at this year's WrestleMania proved that there's still plenty of gas left in the tank.
In a clip from WWE Network's Undertaker: The Last Ride, the legendary wrestler looked back on his Streak vs. Career match against Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 26, and admitted that he's envious of the way HBK was able to end his career on his own terms and retire from in-ring competition.
"I’m so envious of Shawn because he was able to walk away and he was good with it," he says. "Do I wish I had that kind of clarity? Absolutely, I wish I had that clarity. He had the clarity before going into the match. Hopefully, when I have the match I’m looking for, in one way or another, I have that clarity. Okay, that’s it."
Of course, Michaels did come out of retirement to team up with Triple H for a match against The Undertaker and Kane in Saudi Arabia, but the less said about that, the better!
