Stone Cold Steve Austin sat down to talk to The Undertaker during the premiere episode of
Broken Skull Sessions last night and a number of topics were touched on by the WWE Hall of Famer and the Deadman. Among them was the Phenom's decision to not retire after his
WrestleMania streak was broken by Brock Lesnar in 2014.
Revealing that he was concussed minutes into the match, The Undertaker confirms that he doesn't really remember any of that day and all he recalls is a conversation he had with his wife Michelle McCool at 5am the next day in hospital when he was being asked questions like his name and where he was (which he was unable to answer).
Taker pointed out that the concussion wasn't Lesnar's fault but adds that it "screwed up my confidence. You figure after you’ve had a career 25 plus years, you’ve seen every situation, you don’t get shook up. That is a false belief cause this shook me up because I couldn’t pinpoint where I got concussed."
As for why he didn't retire after WrestleMania, he adds that he wanted to remember his final match and he plans to write his own ending to his career.
