The Usos Retain The SMACKDOWN Tag-Team Titles At WWE FASTLANE; Shane McMahon Turns Heel

Fastlane kicked off with the SmackDown LIVE Tag-Team Championship match, and The Usos retained after The Miz attempted a Frog Splash which led to a rollup pin. This was the catalyst for vicious heel turn from his partner, Shane McMahon.

Shane attacked Mz from behind a delivered a brutal beat-down, at one point even grabbing hold of his (former) partner's father who was sitting ringside. After some stiff shots, McMahon locked on a triangle choke, rendering The Miz unconscious.

There have been rumors of a Shane heel turn for a while, so this wasn't too shocking. Still, it was well executed and got some good heat which Shane will need to capitalize on in the buildup with his inevitable match with Miz at WrestleMania.
