Last night's SmackDown saw the newly signed Motor City Machine Guns defeat #DIY to become the #1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships.
It was a great match which saw MCMG pick up the win. However, The Bloodline quickly hit the ring to square up to their future challenges, prompting SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis to intervene. However, as the two teams traded barbs, Solo and Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin agreed that the match would take place then and there.
Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa brawled with the challengers and a masked Jimmy Uso very quickly appeared at ringside to attack Solo before Jacob Fatu intervened.
Roman Reigns made his way out to the ring to brawl with the heels and, when The Bloodline tried to bring steel chairs into the mix due to the referee being distracted, another masked figure stepped in to stop them: Jey Uso!
He took out Tonga and Loa, avenging his Intercontinental Championship loss on RAW this past Monday (which, as we're sure you'll remember, was caused by The Bloodline).
Sabin and Shelley managed to capitalise on the drama to win the WWE Tag Team Championships, a strong indication that the company is taking the former TNA stars - and this division - seriously.
Following their celebration, Jey and Jimmy embraced and reunited much to the delight of fans...as Reigns watched The Usos from the stage.
