It's no secret that Dave Meltzer isn't a fan of WWE and he's become the subject of ridicule for the endless praise he heaps on New Japan Pro Wrestling. 

Much of that is deserved, of course, but it probably won't surprise you that the mostly anti-WWE followers of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter have now voted it the worst promotion of 2018. However, before you start assuming WWE will be in the least bit worried by this, it's worth noting that the company received only 612 votes in a poll of only around 1000 people! 

WWE recently announced that they have over 1 billion social media followers so to call that a drop in the ocean would obviously be an understatement. 

For what it's worth, NJPW was named the bets wrestling promotion, while Lucha Underground was in second place. Laughable, IMPACT was third...
