The WWE 24/7 Title Changed Hands Twice On SMACKDOWN LIVE; R-Truth Still Champion

R-Truth had an official 24/7 Championship match tonight on SmackDown LIVE, and although he was beaten by Elias, he did manage to regain the title yet again by pinning The Drifter... beneath the ring?

Fans were skeptical when the 24/7 Championship was introduced a few weeks ago, but since then they have made for some consistently entertaining segments, and, to be honest, any excuse for more R-Truth is just fine with us!

Tonight on SmackDown, Truth told Shane McMahon that the 24/7 rule was making his life hell, so the "Best in the World" put the champ in a one-on-one encounter with Elias.

He did neglect to mention that it was a Lumberjack Match, however.

Elias pinned Truth fairly quickly, but then the lumberjacks rushed the ring and he was firced to roll to the outside where his opponent was waiting. Elias and Truth crawled under the ring, where (somehow) the pinfall went down and the latter emerged as the new champ (again).
