The Intercontinental Championship Tournament continues.

Tonight, the finals will be determined as former WWE Champions Jeff Hardy and Daniel Bryan will meet in the first match of the semi-finals. Hardy has had a nice wave of momentum since making his return to the blue brand; however, Bryan is a master technician inside the squared circle and knows several different ways to beat “The Charismatic Enigma”.

In the other semi-final match, Elias will meet A.J. Styles. Other than the 24/7 Championship, Elias has yet to win a major title within WWE. A.J. Styles is no stranger to winning gold on the other hand, with the returning Smackdown star being a former United States and WWE Champion. The 42-year-old looks to add the IC title to his resume for the first time ever; however, will Elias ruin those plans with a surprise victory?

Expect the build to Backlash to continue with the next development between Braun Strowman, The Miz and John Morrison, and so much more! Check out the advertised line-up for SmackDown at 8/7 C on FOX.
