Money in the Bank is fast approaching, and a number of big matches have already been announced for the show. As of right now, Bayley is set to defend the SmackDown Women's Championship against Tamina at the PPV, while plans for Becky Lynch's RAW Women's Championship aren't clear.
However, those of you hoping to see Charlotte Flair defend the NXT Women's Championship she won at WrestleMania at the show are going to be disappointed.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are no plans for The Queen to compete at Money in the Bank. That's despite the fact Io Shirai was named the #1 contender for the title during the April 8th episode of NXT during a ladder match which had previously been scheduled for NXT TakeOver: Tampa Bay (which was cancelled as a result of COVID-19).
