There Are Reportedly "Moves" Being Made In WWE To Bring Brock Lesnar Back Into The Fold

Despite getting caught up in the Vince McMahon sexual abuse lawsuit, a new report claims WWE is making "moves" to bring Brock Lesnar back into the fold. Could The Beast make his return at WrestleMania?

Over the past couple of days, there's been chatter on social media about Brock Lesnar being added back to the WWE.com roster page. As far as we're aware, he was never actually removed, but it seems the door is indeed open to The Beast making his WWE return.

As you'll likely recall, WWE scrapped plans for Lesnar to return at the Royal Rumble when he got caught up in the horrifying sexual abuse lawsuit laid at the feet of former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

It was alleged that Lesnar had made plans to meet with the woman McMahon is said to have trafficked, only for travel issues to stop that from happening. The lawsuit also mentioned the former WWE Champion supposedly requesting a video of the woman urinating before calling her a "b*tch."

Despite that, Wrestling Observer Live's Bryan Alvarez is reporting that "moves" are being made to bring Lesnar back.

"In the last few days, there have been moves regarding Brock Lesnar. If you listen to the show last night with Dave [Meltzer], everything we talked about is accurate other than the roster page. There are movements to bring him back."

"I should add regarding Brock. I'm not saying he's going to be back. I have no idea if he's going to be back. I wouldn't bring him back but I can tell you that there have been inquiries made and what that means, we will wait and see. It seems like a bad idea to me. Put it that way."

This does indeed seem like a disastrous move on WWE's part, but at the same time, all Lesnar really did was exchange some inappropriate messages with his boss. Understandably, though, there will be those who don't want to see him back.

Original plans called for Lesnar to face Dominik Mysterio at Elimination Chamber after The Judgement Day member eliminated him from the Rumble. From there, the idea had been for him to face Intercontinental Champion Gunther at WrestleMania. Lesnar has also been removed from the WWE 2K24 video game.

Here's what Lesnar said last year to those who say he only competes for WWE for the money:

"I’ve put on some great [f***ing] matches in my day. And you don’t do that without having a passion for the squared circle. I’m a man that for the last 25 years of my life just wanted to be left the [f***] alone. I didn’t prostitute myself and put myself out there to be vulnerable to the media and be vulnerable to the next person that wanted to stick their claws into me."

"I just found out that it was easier for me to go and recharge my batteries and go be who I really wanted to be and hide that from the world. It’s just who I am. I’m a private person. I approach my life and fighting and wrestling like this is a job."

"It’s a career. I’m a prizefighter. I get into the octagon or the ring, I do my business, and I do it well, and I get paid for it. And so I’m very passionate about the business. But that was my character. For a long time, I had Paul Heyman speaking on my behalf."

"I didn’t have to participate on the microphone. I was just a demolition man. I think people, if they could see through all of it, would understand that I’ve had some really great matches in my career with a lot of different people. You don’t go to work, and put out a product like that if you don’t have passion for it."
