The location for next year's WrestleMania has already been confirmed for March 28th at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California for a Hollywood-themed Showcase of the Immortals. However, following this weekend's two-night Show of Shows, there are already rumblings about what's coming our way in 2022.
The COVID-19 pandemic means that this year's WrestleMania was forced to move from the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, but the WrestleVotes Twitter account is pointing to Tampa getting another chance the year after next.
"Now that the weekend that "was to be" has passed, I can say that Tampa Bay will be in the running to host [Wrestlemania] 38 in 2022," the often very reliable Twitter account reveals. "All the initial legwork is obviously done, with the city still very much eager to host the event. Might be a shoe in. Time will tell."
That would definitely be good news for fans in Tampa, and a chance for WWE to make use of some of what they had planned for the PPV this past weekend.
