There May Be Some Concerns In WWE About Moving Forward With A Rebooted Nation Of Domination

Recent episodes of RAW have indicated that WWE could be planning to reboot the Nation of Domination, but it's believed that there are those within the company who are worried about it being a tad tone deaf.

As we mentioned earlier this week, there are plans in place for WWE to reboot the Nation of Domination. It's believed that MVP will lead the stable, and there have been hints on RAW in recent weeks that he will be joined by names like Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and even Apollo Crews.

In today's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer explains that WWE Hall of Famer Ron Simmons appearing on this past Monday's RAW was supposed to kickstart that angle, while Mark Henry is also expected to return to television at some point as well.

However, there's currently uncertainty in WWE about the angle because it could be considered tone-deaf given what's been happening in the United States and across the globe right now with the #BlackLivesMatter movement (plus, let's face it, WWE has a history of mishandling storylines to do with race or sexuality).

WrestlingNews.co adds that Vince McMahon has been listening to a lot of MVP's ideas in recent months, and feels that he's capable of helping get over a lot of younger talent in the company.

We'll have to keep an eye on how this one pans out, but it's certainly going to be interesting to follow this potential storyline.
