There May Be Some Good News For The New Day's Xavier Woods Following His Recent Achilles Tear

As you may recall, Xavier Woods suffered an Achilles tear during a match in Sydney, Australia back in October. He then underwent surgery on October 25th and that sort of injury can put a wrestler on the injured list for as long as a year depending on its severity.

However, according to WrestlingNews.co, Woods may actually be ahead of schedule in terms of his recovery time and the evaluation date for his injury has been moved up from July to May. As a result, that could mean The New Day member will be back in WWE by the summer.

Whatever happens, Woods is expected to miss WrestleMania and it's worth noting that this is a career-threatening injury so here's hoping that he's able to make a quick recovery.

When do you hope to see Woods back in action?
