Despite promising that it would never happen, John Cena has become a part-timer in WWE but considering the fact he's 41-years-old and making a name for himself in Hollywood, it's easy enough to see why. As a result, there was no sign of the leader of the Cenation during SmackDown 1000 but WWE did share a video recorded by him in which he celebrates the show's landmark episode.

It makes for enjoyable enough viewing as he references some of his highs and lows on the blue brand, including his debut in which he made it clear to Kurt Angle that he had "Ruthless Aggression."

Honestly, the whole thing feels pretty scripted and isn't really what we've come to expect from Cena but it was probably shot quickly during his Super Show-Down return a couple of weeks ago. Were you disappointed not to see Cena at SmackDown 1000? Let us know your thoughts in the usual place.
