There Were Two Huge Heel Turns During Last Night's RAW...And An Unexpected Championship Change

WWE is setting the stage for WrestleMania, and last night's episode of RAW not only featured two major heel turns, but also a championship change likely to have consequences for the Show of Shows...

During last Monday's episode of RAW, Edge teased a "phenomenal" opponent for this year's WrestleMania. Well, AJ Styles answered the Rated R Superstar's challenge and was told by the WWE Hall of Famer that he wants "the bulldog" version of Styles, and not the "tag team b*tch" who played second fiddle to Omos over the past year.

After offering Styles a handshake, Edge turned heel and laid the Phenomenal One with a punch. Styles fought back, but a low blow led to Edge being able to deliver a pair of Con-Chair-Tos to his opponent at the Show of Shows.

That wasn't RAW's only heel turn, though, because Damien Priest has also shown his true colours. Putting the United States Championship on the line against Finn Balor, Priest came up short and ended up losing the title thanks to the Coup de Grace. After the match, Priest lost it, insulting the fans and hitting Balor with a cheap shot before putting him through a table with the Razor's Edge.

We're guessing the stage is being set for Priest vs. Balor at WrestleMania, so we'll see if WWE can get fans invested in this feud over the coming weeks.

For now, check out some highlights below:
