Since Brock Lesnar parted ways with advocate Paul Heyman, we've heard a lot more from The Beast on the mic and it's become clear he's having a lot of fun in the squared circle.
While his feud with Bobby Lashley ended in a rather disappointing manner, he's now set to clash with Omos on the Grandest Stage of Them All at WrestleMania next weekend. It's a match that's drawn mixed responses from fans, though it comes after Lesnar reportedly refused to work with Bray Wyatt (who currently appears to be sidelined with an injury).
Last month, there were reports online that Lesnar had been saying goodbye to people backstage at Elimination Chamber, prompting reports that his WWE run might be winding down.
Now, Dave Meltzer has chimed in and confirmed that Lesnar's post-WrestleMania status is being kept a closely guarded secret.
"The only nugget on Brock is that his stuff is a total secret," he explained. "Nobody knows what's going on with him. Nobody knows. Legitimately nobody knows."
We don't see Lesnar leaving WWE anytime soon and, if anything, this might just be a tactic he's using to secure another big deal. His main event status has suffered somewhat these past couple of years and WWE has struggled to book him in compelling storylines after years of Lesnar being portrayed as an unstoppable force of nature.
Hopefully, that match with Omos doesn't disappoint and we get to see him do something new in the months ahead.
After Cody Rhodes recently shared his prediction that Heyman could ultimately reunite with Lesnar if Roman Reigns loses his titles at WrestleMania, however, that may be where things are heading.
