For months now, we've been hearing rumours about a women's match headlining WrestleMania and one bout which feels worthy of taking that spot on the Grandest Stage of Them All is Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey. However, according to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, that's not a lock as of right now but it is one of many ideas WWE is currently considering.
Over the weekend, Charlotte even addressed the possibility and seems very keen on meeting Rousey in a match at WrestleMania. "I want to face her, that has crossed my mind," she admitted before adding: "When I think of WrestleMania and headlining, I think of the biggest stories, the biggest stars. I just know in order to be in the main event picture, it would take the right storyline."
The question is, if such a match were to take place, who would go over? That probably depends on how long Rousey is planning to stick around for but there's no denying that it would be fun to watch...
