Things Aren't Looking Good For Former 205 LIVE Superstar Lio Rush In WWE Right Now

Lio Rush, who competed on 205 Live and served as Bobby Lashley's manager, hasn't been seen in WWE for a while and we now have an update about what's happening with him. Honestly, it doesn't sound good...

It's now been a couple of months since Lio Rush has been seen on WWE TV and things aren't looking good for the former 205 Live and RAW Superstar. While there was talk of him being moved back to NXT, it doesn't appear as if that's in the card as he's not in the next set of tapings.

Rush has also removed all mentions of the company from his social media accounts and has implied that he'll be taking on non-wrestling projects soon. He's also been posting videos of matches he had on the independent scene.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, no one in WWE is talking about Rush and he's someone they're just not using so chances are he's just sitting out his contract. In the past, WWE would likely release him but they probably don't want him heading to All Elite Wrestling in time for its launch this October.

Despite being talented on the mic and in the ring, Rush has a bad reputation backstage so who knows what comes next for him.
