Tuesday night's episode of WWE Backstage on Fox Sports 1 drew only 18,000 viewers. No, that's not a typo! This number has taken a little longer than usual to find its way online because the show failed to crack the Cable Top 150, proving just how dismal a result this is.
Due to an error with Nielson, we don't know how last week's episode of WWE Backstage did, but this Tuesday's number is a huge decline from the 127,000 viewers the February 18th instalment drew.
18,000 viewers is also the lowest viewership in the history of the studio show, with the previous series low being 49,000 for the premiere on November 5th. Previous lows were on December 17th (95,000) and New Year's Eve (97,000).
WWE Backstage featured the announcement that JBL will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as well as an appearance from Jeff Hardy. Honestly, if this number doesn't drastically improve, it wouldn't be at all surprising for FOX to finally pull the plug on the overlooked weekly show.
