SummerSlam is mere weeks away, and last night's RAW finally saw the first three matches added to the PLE's card.
WWE wasted no time in making Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar official after the Beast attacked the American Nightmare (in front of his mother, no less). Lesnar locked the babyface in the same Kimura Lock which left him with a broken arm earlier this year, making it clear he'll be at SummerSlam.
This will be their rubber match, and we're anticipating Rhodes picking up the win if the plan is still for him to dethrone Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at next year's WrestleMania.
Elsewhere in the show, Ronda Rousey verbally berated Shayna Baszler after her former tag team partner picked up a quick win over Nikki Cross. The Baddest Woman on the Planet's WWE run is expected to be winding down, and these two former friends will now clash at one of WWE's biggest shows of the year.
Yet another tense confrontation ensued between Finn Balor and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, and they're going to war with the title on the line after the controversial finish to their recent Money in the Bank encounter.
It was at SummerSlam back in 2017 that Balor defeated Rollins to become WWE's first Universal Champion, only for him to suffer an injury in the match which saw the Irishman forced to relinquish the title just one night later.
While it hasn't been officially announced, the stage has also been set for Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus to square off again, though "The Man" will first have to go through Zoey Stark.
Oh, and if she loses, the WWE Hall of Famer wants Lynch to get "Thank You Trish" tattooed across her chest!
SummerSlam takes place on August 5.
