Tiffany Stratton's First Title Defense Will Take Place On Tonight's WWE SMACKDOWN

On the very first three-hour Smackdown, Ms. Money in the Bank shocked the world by finally cashing in on Nia Jax. But that was the easy part. Now Stratton has to defend against the top women on the blue brand. 

Her first challenger is a former five time women’s champion - Bayley. The California native started 2024 off strong by winning The Royal Rumble and defeating Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Championship. Bayley has more experience than Stratton as the 35-year-old has competed professionally since 2008. Will Bayley recapture the 2024 magic by dethroning Tiffany Stratton on her very first title defense? Or will Stratton prove that the future is now?

Tonight’s Smackdown also marks the return of Solo Sikoa. The wannabe Tribal Chief failed to get the job done on the Netflix premiere of RAW. Since then, Sikoa has been very quiet, though his Bloodline 2.0 members have been making noise re-establishing their place on the WWE roster. What will happen when Solo Sikoa returns on Smackdown? Will there still be a Bloodline 2.0 once tonight’s episode is all said and done?

In a number one contender’s match, The Motor City Machine Guns will face Los Garza to determine the next challengers for DIY. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin understand what it takes to get to the top, even if they did have a short WWE Tag Team title reign. However, Berto and Angel are hungry for an opportunity at being the tag champs. The duo has been underrated for the past couple of years and they desperately want to prove that they belong in the same spot as some of the best teams on the roster. 

Expect more development on the Kevin Owens/Cody Rhodes feud, some more Royal Rumble news, and an update on LA Knight being screwed out of his United States title shot last week.
