This week on NXT (full results here), there were four "Evolution Eliminator" matches within the women's division that acted as qualifiers for an upcoming No. 1 contender's match.
The winners of those four matches were:
- Jaida Parker over Thea Hail (with the notable remark that Hail made Parker tap out, but the referee couldn't see that, so Hail let go of her submission, thinking she had won, only for Parker to hit her with Hipnotic to score the pinfall)
- Lash Legend over Kelani Jordan
- Jordynne Grace over Lola Vice
- and Izzi Dame over Zaria (who lost after being distracted by Tatum Paxley, who came out to ringside in her quest to befriend Zaria and Sol Ruca)
Next week, Dame, Grace, Legend and Parker will all face off in a Fatal 4-Way match, with the winner going on to challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women's Championship at WWE Evolution, set to take place July 13, 2025 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
The TNA World Championship will be on the line as Trick Williams goes up against Josh Briggs. This came about in a strange way, as Briggs, Elijah, and Yoshiki Inamura won their six-man tag team match against Williams, A.J. Francis, and Wes Lee when Inamura pinned Williams. In a backstage segment, Briggs told Inamura that by pinning Trick, he's most likely owed a title shot. Inamura reminded Briggs that he's there in NXT for him, and that he wants to think bigger, gifting Briggs the TNA world title shot instead of having it for himself.
The NXT Heritage Cup will also be up for grabs. Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo was booked for this opportunity opposite Noam Dar because he's beaten Tony D'Angelo, who previously held the cup, and "his consigliere signed off on it." D'Angelo assumes that's Luca Crusifino, who denies having anything to do with it.
Ricky Saints will supposedly be medically cleared to compete and possibly in action against either Ashante "Thee" Adonis, Ethan Page, or someone from The Vanity Project, after a backstage segment in the locker room, but that wasn't confirmed in any fashion.
To recap, here's the lineup for next week's NXT card:
- NXT Women's Championship No. 1 Contender's Fatal 4-Way Match: Izzi Dame vs. Jaida Parker vs. Jordynne Grace vs. Lash Legend
- TNA World Championship Match: Trick Williams (c) vs. Josh Briggs
- NXT Heritage Cup Match: Noam Dar (c) vs. Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo
- Je'Von Evans vs. Tavion Heights — If Heights wins, he's allowed to leave No Quarter Catch Crew
- *possibly Ricky Saints vs. Ashante "Thee" Adonis (speculation)
