Tonight's episode of SmackDown is just a few hours away, and as per usual, it loosk like there's going to be one potentially great title match on the card surrounded by what sounds like lackluster filler.

AJ Styles will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Drew Gulak in what promises to be a very exiting encounter - even if there's no way in hell the Philadelphia Stretcher is winning. The former Cruiserweight Champion does hold a non-title victory over The Phenomenal One, but it seems highly unlikely that Styles' run would be cut so short to elevate an up-and-coming talent. Perish the thought!

We will also see Sheamus "raise a glass to Jeff Hardy" following his recent win over The Charismatic Enigma, so expect more digs at Hardy's alcoholism and substance issues, and maybe a few bodily fluids to boot.

In addition, recent blue brand recruit Matt Riddle will sit down for an interview with Michael Cole. What will The King of Bros have to say? You'll have top tune in later tonight for what's certain to be an articulate and well thought-out segment.
