As is usually the case, The WrestleMania kickoff show got underway with the Cruiserweight Championship match, but something did happen which we haven't seen in quite some time: the title changed hands.

As you'd expect from the caliber of the Superstars involved, the bout was a hard-hitting affair with both men showcasing their incredible power and athleticism. At one point, Buddy Murphy hit Murphy's Law and would have scored the pinfall had Tony Nese not managed to get a foot on the rope.

From there, The Premiere Athlete regained control and was ultimately able to hit his devastating Running Nese in the corner to win the match and become the new Cruiserweight Champion.

A great match to start 'Mania with - let's hope that level of quality continues!
