According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Garza Jr. and Shane Strickland are finally WWE bound and will report to the WWE Performance Center on Apr. 9.
Both independent talents were heavily rumored to be WWE bound last year, but in the case of Gaza Jr., the former IMPACT Wrestling star’s deal was pulled after failing his physical due to shoulder issues. In addition to IMPACT, Garza Jr. is known for his time in The Crash and AAA.
As for Strickland, he was originally tapped to sign with the company earlier this year; however, the former MLW World Champion still had to deal with his Lucha Underground contract, which ultimately delayed his signing. Strickland announced in January that he was finally a free agent. He has been featured on recent EVOLVE shows, along with working Independent dates for DEFY, CZW, and OTT.
