The viewership numbers are in for Tuesday night's season nine finale of Total Divas and it's not good news for the E! Network. The show drew only 229,000 viewers, the second lowest viewership for the season (considering the fact this was the finale and hyped up beforehand, that's massively surprising).

This episode of Total Divas was ranked #94 on cable for the night had a 0.10 rating in the 18 - 49 demographic. The previous week's instalment drew 247,000 viewers and was ranked at #74.

With this in mind, the ninth season of the long-running series averaged 257,600 viewers per episode of a total of 2.576 million viewers. That's a considerably lower total than the previous three seasons and it's hard to imagine how much longer the E! Network will want to keep the show around for at this point.

Have you guys been tuning into Total Divas this year?
