Triple H and Stephanie McMahon took part in a panel at the Television Critics Association winter press tour yesterday and both were quizzed on the future of former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann. In case you hadn't heard, he was arrested on domestic abuse charges last month and the company suspended him immediately as a result (it's not clear if it will go to trial, though).
However, if Swann is ultimately found guilty, what happens? "We are just waiting on legal," The Game explained to the press. "We have a zero tolerance policy on that, as you've seen, so he's suspended until it is determined legally one way or the other." Stephanie added: "And if he's convicted, he will be released." Triple H added to that by simply saying, "Immediately."
As of right now, Swann's fate is very much up in the air but things aren't looking good for him. While not being part of 205 Live isn't the greatest loss, being fired from WWE is and it could be that no one will want to touch him on the independents. We'll just have to wait and see but he's made a big mistake and is clearly going to end up paying for it no matter what happens. What do you think?
