Jinder Mahal's rise to the top has gone better than anyone expected when he first started getting pushed to cater to WWE's growing Indian audience. However, fans haven't been able to get on board with this status quo and much of that has to do with the WWE Champion's performance inside the ring. After all, his title matches all end with interference from the Singh Brothers followed by his finisher.

Despite all of that, WWE is still pushing Mahal and that's likely to continue well into the New Year, especially as the company is returning to India this December. However, one person who is fully behind the Modern Day Maharajah is NXT head honcho and former WWE Champion Triple H. As it turns out, he has nothing but respect for how the former Three Man Band member has turned things around.

"Jinder Mahal has done an amazing job in recreating himself. Jinder was in WWE for the first time and wasn't as successful as he would have wanted. But we went back and re-energised himself, dug deeper (within) himself and worked extremely hard in his second chance and is now making the most of it. People can criticise him, but he has earned my respect."

How do you feel about Triple H's comments? Do you agree that Jinder has made the most of his second chance after his initial WWE run? Let us know your thoughts in the usual place.
