Triple H Denies Recent Reports That He'll Be Part Of Team NXT At The SURVIVOR SERIES PPV

It was recently reported that WWE is considering having Triple H lead Team NXT at Survivor Series this Sunday but The Game has now weighed in on that and it definitely doesn't sound like he's interested...

Earlier this week, a rumour started doing the rounds claiming that Triple H could be named the captain of Team NXT at Survivor Series. He's been making frequent appearances on WWE TV to hype the PPV and while it was said he wasn't keen to compete in the match, the rumour also revealed that it was something WWE Creative was pushing for.

Well, during a conference call to promote Saturday's NXT TakeOver: WarGames, Triple H confirmed that he won't be wrestling in NXT or as someone representing the brand at the upcoming PPV.

"It’s about the youth, the future, and a new generation of stars," he told reporters. "I want others to have that moment on that stage." That makes sense and is definitely something The Game pushes for these days as he takes on more responsibility as WWE's COO rather than an active Superstar.

Are you guys happy about this news or would you like to see Hunter step into an NXT ring?
