Triple H Explains Why A Second All-Female EVOLUTION PPV Didn't Take Place This Year

Last year, WWE made history with an all-female PPV called Evolution. Unfortunately, we didn't get a follow-up this year and Triple H has now explained what the thinking behind that was. Check it out...

Triple H recently spoke to Digital Spy and was asked why a second Evolution PPV has yet to take place after last year's historic effort. The Game made it clear that it all comes down to timings because they only have so much time and space in a year for events like these.

"I think so," he said after being asked if another Evolution could happen somewhere down the line. "This year has been such a transitional year with WWE that in the process of a lot of things happening like the switch to Fox, NXT going to USA, there’s been so many crazy things going on, part of the planning process of those things is us not having the bandwidth to do a few of the things that we would have liked to have done this year."

"[Evolution] is still on the table, still up in the air as to what will happen and what will go down," he continued. "I think it might be a little bit on a delay from when we would have liked to have done it, just because there’s only seven days in a week and 24 hours in the day. There’s only so much we can accomplish and have it be done correctly. You don’t want to half-ass it."

With WWE returning to Saudi Arabia for another Crown Jewel PPV this month where women are once again unlikely to be able to compete, it's a shame WWE hasn't made a greater effort to find room for another Evolution PPV. Of course, the fact Ronda Rousey is no longer around probably doesn't help matters.

What do you guys think?
