Triple H Makes It Clear He Wants To Keep NXT Women's Champion Asuka On That Brand

Despite having an undefeated streak in NXT, many fans can't understand why Asuka still isn't on the main roster. Well, Triple H has provided an answer and a compelling argument for why she's needed in NXT.

There was a lot of hype surrounding Asuka when she debuted in NXT and it's fair to say she's lived up to that. Arguably the best female performer in the entire WWE, she's been down in Full Sail for quite some time now and fans are constantly wondering when and if the undefeated NXT Women's Champion is finally going to make her debut on the main roster for RAW or SmackDown Live.

However, it doesn't sound like we should expect to see Asuka move up from NXT in the near future and that's because after losing a wave of female talent in the past, Triple H can't afford to let her go!

"I would never want to limit someone’s growth or their opportunities, but when Vince brought it up to me, I said the one person who we can’t afford to lose is Asuka," The Game revealed an interview which took place before SummerSlam. "You could take everybody else you want to take – and trust me, he did – but I need her as an anchor. If I lose her and everybody else, I’m doomed."

Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Bayley all moving up to the main roster hurt NXT so it's easy to see why Triple H now wants to leave Asuka where she is. However, with new blood sure to be entering the division soon after the Mae Young Classic, chances are she could make the leap to WWE television at some point in the next year or so. What do you guys think?
