Triple H Once Again Shares His Thoughts On CM Punk And AJ Lee Potentially Returning To WWE

Speculation continues running rampant that we'll see CM Punk back in WWE in time for WrestleMania (he's a favourite to win the Royal Rumble, after all), but what does Triple H think about that? Check it out...

During a recent media call to promote this weekend's NXT TakeOver UK event in Blackpool, England, Triple H was once again asked about the possibility of CM Punk and AJ Lee returning to WWE.

Needless to say, The Game chose his words carefully but certainly didn't dismiss the idea!

"If it was right for them, for the company, for everyone involved, then absolutely [I'd like to see them return]," he claimed. "I don't think that's ever been a factor, of somebody saying, 'This person should be here, or that person should be here. Incredible talent are always incredible talent – but there's so much more to the business than just being a talented performer."

"In a perfect world? Yeah, sure," he continued. "Again, you've heard Vince echo that sentiment so many times of the years, 'Never say never!'"

It seems highly unlikely that AJ Lee will wrestle again, while we still don't know whether Punk has forgiven Vince McMahon and Triple H for how he was treated following his WWE departure despite having one foot in the door with Fox Sports 1's WWE Backstage. Fans would like to see it happen, of course, but time will tell
