Triple H was recently interviewed alongside Tyson Fury by Ariel Helwani ahead of next week's Crown Jewel PPV. During this conversation, The Game and WWE's COO was asked about CM Punk potential return to the company following rumours about him being part of Fox Sports 1's upcoming WWE Backstage show.

Punk has also talked about being willing to step back inside the squared circle in exchange for a very large bag of money and, believe it or not, it sounds like Triple H would be open to working with him.

"That’s a ‘could be,'" he said. "Vince will say it all the time, ‘We’re open for business’. The past is passed, today is today and you never say never in WWE." Whether it will actually happen is another matter altogether but WWE would surely swallow their pride if it stops Punk going to All Elite Wrestling instead!
