Despite speculation to the contrary, CM Punk has reportedly had no talks with WWE about any sort of in-ring return. As a result, those challenges from Seth Rollins on social media aren't actually building to anything and are something the former Universal Champion is doing of his own volition. 

During an NXT TakeOver: WarGames post-show media call on Saturday night, Triple H confirmed that he's not spoken to Punk since he joined the WWE Backstage team and revealed that he told the show's announce team to be careful about saying anything that would point to Punk being the mystery man in the show's WarGames match. 

The Game also reiterated that Punk is working for FOX rather than WWE so, as of right now, we can clearly forget about seeing the one-time Best in the World step back into the squared circle.
