In recent years, Triple H has taken a step back from being a full-time wrestler in order to serve an executive role behind the scenes in WWE. He's also in charge of NXT, and during a recent interview with ESPN's SportsCenter, The Game explained why he's happy not to be competing at WrestleMania at all this year,

"Right now, I’m a full-time office guy," he says in the video below. "It’s funny, ironically I wasn’t scheduled to be in this year’s WrestleMania anyways. Every year as time goes by, it gets more and more hectic for me. Getting in the ring just becomes an added burden."

"Especially this year, with the way things turned out, and what we wanted to accomplish, I was very thankful I wasn’t scheduled to be in the ring this year, because it would have been almost virtually impossible to do everything else that’s happening," The Game added.

At last year's WrestleMania, Triple H retired Dave Bautista, and it's been clear for a while now that there were no plans for him at this year's Show of Shows. When he'll next compete remains to be seen, but with so much uncertainty in WWE right now, the future isn't clear for any Superstar!
