We still haven't heard anything official about the severity of AJ Styles' injury but do know that it's very real and could have an impact on his match against Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania

Considering the fact that's quite rightly being billed as a dream match, the fact it might not happen is sure to upset fans but Triple H has made it clear in a new interview that WWE definitely has a plan B if The Phenomenal One is unable to defend his title against the King of Strong Style at the PPV.

"You always have to have a plan B and just in case you have a plan C so we try to have in mind what would happen. AJ is an incredible performer and saying we would replace AJ Styles would be very difficult, not necessarily a replaceable talent but we would do our best. AJ is working diligently on rehabbing his injuries and getting himself in tip top shape for WrestleMania. We are trying to help him with that process of getting the best care and the best rehab and everything else possible. You know, we’re hoping for the best."

That sounds like a mostly positive update and it could be that WWE isn't acknowledging Styles injury because they'll find a storyline way to write him out of the Showcase of the Immortals next month.

The Game went on to add: "Right now he says he’s feeling a lot better and will be ready to go and obviously we’ll get
him doctors to make sure that he is ready to go and get him medical clearance if that’s possible. He’s working very hard at it. We’re hoping for the best." For now, we'll have to wait and see but the WrestleMania card could be about to change in a big way.
