Earlier this month, we learned that Paul "Triple H" Levesque was hospitalised following what WWE described as a "cardiac event" (no additional details beyond that were shared). However, it was said to be a result of a "genetic heart issue," but he's since had successful surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.

Unfortunately, something like this could quite easily bring an end to The Game's in-ring career, though it's rare he wrestles these days. The good news here is that he's on the mend, though it's likely going to be a while before he's able to return to work; it was recently reported that talent can contact him, but not to discuss business...so, no mentioning Adam Cole or NXT 2.0!

On the plus side, we've finally heard from WWE's Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development, and Hunter was quick to thank Shawn Michaels, the NXT crew, and everyone who has sent him their well-wishes in the weeks following his hospitalization.

It's great to finally hear from him, and he'll no doubt reveal more in the coming weeks and months.

For now, check out Triple H's first public, post-surgery comments below:
