The reason for the change isn't clear but during last night's RAW, we learned that rather than competing in singles matches, Trish Stratus and Lita will now team up to square off with Alexa Bliss and Mickie James. Neither of the WWE Hall of Famers has competed in a singles match for a number of years, so it could be as simple WWE choosing to hide their weaknesses in a tag team match.

Regardless, this new match was made official when Trish was confronted by Bliss and James and she revealed that she had the perfect partner in mind for the upcoming Evolution PPV. It was then that Lita's music hit much to the delight of fans and she and old rival Trish cleared out the ring before celebrating together. This should still be an awesome match as it features plenty of great talent.

Are you disappointed that WWE has turned these two singles matches into a tag team bout? As always, share your thoughts in the comments section and stay tuned for updates as we have them.
