Trish Stratus And Lita Will Reportedly Stick Around In WWE Following The EVOLUTION PPV

On Monday night's episode of RAW, we found out that Trish Stratus will now team up with Lita to take on the team of Alexa Bliss and Mickie James at Evolution. While some fans jumped to the conclusion that WWE decided to pair up "Team Bestie" because they wouldn't be able to cope with singles matches after so long out of the ring, we recently learned that a tag team match was always the plan.

Now, PWI Elite's Mike Johnson has revealed that WWE has developed plans to keep both Trish and Lita around as a team following Evolution and it sounds like some big plans are now in the works.

"I was told the decision was made about 2 weeks ago to turn that into a tag and part of it is they want Trish and Lita to be a tag team going forward," he claims. "They have for them coming out of this for them to be appearing on major shows as a tag team." That's a huge surprise but one makes sense seeing as WWE is reportedly planning on launching Women's Tag Team titles.

There's a good chance this could ultimately result in the two squaring off for one final match but we'll have to just wait and see. What do you guys think? Share your thoughts in the usual place.
