Two Big Matches Are Being Advertised For The EXTREME RULES PPV This July

Extreme Rules is still a long way off and while these are obviously subject to change, two big matches are currently being advertised for the PPV which may provide some clues about WWE's creative plans...

Once last night's episode of RAW went off the air, two matches were announced for the Extreme Rules PPV which will take place in Philadelphia on July 14th.

Those were Roman Reigns vs. Baron Corbin and Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre. Both are bouts which have been done to death on RAW over the past year or so and while this card will almost certainly change in the coming months, it provides a vague idea of what WWE has planned moving forward (even if it's just at house shows).

Dean Ambrose obviously wasn't mentioned as he's not being advertised for anything after WrestleMania after it was revealed he won't sign a new contract.

Extreme Rules has become far from extreme in recent years with a card that normally features matches with no stipulations! However, with this year's edition set to take place in Philly, you have to hope that WWE will pull out all the stops.
