Two More WWE Superstars Have Pulled Out Of WRESTLEMANIA Due To COVID-19 Concerns

It's been a rough week for WWE as a number of top stars have pulled out of WrestleMania. The biggest is, of course, Roman Reigns as The Big Dog is no longer set to challenge Goldberg for the WWE Championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All (well, the empty WWE Performance Center).

Now, it's being reported that both Asuka and Cesaro have dropped out of the Show of Shows.

The original plan was for Asuka and Kairi Sane to defend the Women's Tag Team Championships against Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross and Natalya and Beth Phoenix, but those plans were dropped, and it then looked like it would just be Bliss and Cross challenging for the titles. Now, it's clear that won't happen. Cesaro, meanwhile, would have more than likely been in Sami Zayn's corner at WrestleMania.

There's no word on why they're not part of the show, and it could be down to illness, travel issues, or them simply refusing to put themselves at risk in the midst of a global pandemic.
