Early on in Ronday Rousey's WWE career, she squared off with Alexa Bliss on a number of occasions. However, shortly after those bouts, the former
RAW and
SmackDown Women's Champion ended up being left on the shelf for a huge chunk of both 2018 and 2019 and it was widely reported that she'd suffered multiple concussions.
Well, we now know that at least two of them were at the hands of Rousey's Headlock Takeover move.
According to Bliss in her
WWE 365 special, these happened at both
Hell in a Cell and a house show and it was the latter which resulted in the popular heel missing that singles match against Trish Stratus at
Evolution.
Bliss says she doesn't blame Rousey but this may be an indication that WWE should have kept a closer eye on the former UFC star, especially if she was going to start using quite "real" moves in the world of sports entertainment.
