Earlier this week, future WWE Hall of Famer Dave Bautista made headlines when he took to Twitter to question WWE's decision to break up The Hurt Business.

During Monday's episode of RAW, WWE Champion Bobby Lashley kicked Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin out of the group, and while he's still aligned with MVP, Lashley's destruction of the former Tag Team Champions has cemented the fact this stable's time together is at an end.

According to Fightful Select, it was Vince McMahon's decision to break the group up "much to [their] chagrin." It's said that the WWE Chairman "was set in his choice to fracture the group, even after MVP and Bobby Lashley were vocal about not being in support of the move." Lashley and MVP even met with McMahon backstage, but that saw him "[dig] his heels in even more."

McMahon's insistence to bring The Hurt Business' time together to an end has been seen as a serious blow to morale, and it doesn't sound like the WWE Champion is at all happy heading into WrestleMania

Some fans believe the whole thing is a ruse and Lashley kicking Benjamin and Alexander out of the group means that they're free to interfere in his title defence against Drew McIntyre at the Show of Shows.
