The Bella Twins, Brie and Nikki, will finally be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next month after 2020's ceremony was cancelled. The show will feature the classes for both last year and 2021, though Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista sadly won't be among them.
While it was thought that Nikki's in-ring career was over following a series of issues with her neck, both she and Brie are reportedly planning to make a comeback in the not too distant future.
Talking about this year's ceremony on today's edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed they hope to step back into the squared circle in the coming months. "They’re coming back to wrestle pretty soon," he claimed. "I don’t know exactly when, but they’re coming back to wrestle. They’re planning on coming back, I think it was in the fall."
This is big news, and it wouldn't be remotely surprising to see them go after the Women's Tag Team Championships. Nikki has always been viewed as the bigger star, though, so she could end up being RAW or SmackDown Women's Champion again.
The 2020 inductees include John "Bradshaw" Layfield, "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith, Jushin "Thunder" Liger, the NWO (Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman), and The Bella Twins. Molly Holly, Eric Bischoff, Kane, and The Great Khali are all confirmed for 2021, while Rob Van Dam is rumoured.
