During last night's episode of RAW, Alexa Bliss addressed her recent attacks on Bianca Belair, but was quickly interrupted by Uncle Howdy. Originally thought to be another of Bray Wyatt's personas, it was recently confirmed that they aren't actually one and the same, and it now appears he may be in charge of The Wyatt Family...or perhaps Bray's new rival!
It would definitely be interesting to see two rival supernatural factions go to war in the coming months, but Uncle Howdy confronted Bliss during RAW to ask just how in charge she really feels.
A video was then shown of her time working with Bray, though the footage ended with her infamous betrayal of the former WWE Champion during his match against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 36. That was the last time we saw Wyatt prior to his release, and the expectation is that Uncle Howdy could be used to explain what happened there.
Either way, this is clearly a slow-burn storyline, and one that's currently built around Uncle Howdy's identity. Well, we finally have some news on that front, though you may not be surprised!
According to PWInsider, Bo Dallas is indeed back in WWE and was backstage at RAW last night, presumably to be part of this segment as Uncle Howdy. Multiple other outlets have since weighed in to back this report up, and it seems the former NXT Champion is undergoing quite the makeover to battle with or again his real-life brother in WWE.
There are countless directions this story could go moving forward, but this is definitely one of WWE's best ongoing storylines and one we're hoping and praying Vince McMahon doesn't screw up if he suddenly decides to resume his role as head of creative.
Take a look at that segment from last night's RAW below.
