Unfortunately, It Doesn't Sound Like WWE Is Planning A Brock Lesnar Vs. Bobby Lashley Match

Brock Lesnar took Roman Reigns down at WrestleMania and while they'll face each other at the Greatest Royal Rumble, the majority of fans want to know who his next opponent will be. Well, it's not Bobby Lashley!

Roman Reigns beating Brock Lesnar at The Greatest Royal Rumble would clearly be a huge mistake (unless The Beast just signed a contract for one more match to make the event in Saudi Arabia even bigger) and assuming he is going to be around for the long haul, fans are obviously anxious to know who his next opponent will be and more specifically whether or not that will be Bobby Lashley.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem as if either one of the former MMA competitors will go to war in the squared circle as Dave Meltzer reveals that there are no current plans for that to become a reality.

Instead, the feeling in the company right now is that if Lesnar is indeed leaving, WWE wants to get two losses out of him. One to Reigns and another top hopefully build up someone else. That's not something an established talent like Lashley needs and Meltzer points out that Strowman is a very likely candidate after he feuded with Lesnar last year. For now, we'll just have to wait and see.
