Unfortunately, It Sounds Like Kurt Angle Vs. Baron Corbin Is Definitely The Plan For WRESTLEMANIA

Those of you hoping that WWE is planning a swerve for Kurt Angle's retirement match are going to be disappointed.

According to PW Insider, Baron Corbin is the planned opponent for the Olympic Gold Medallist and the announcement on RAW was not meant as a swerve that will lead to him having another opponent. Many fans were hoping that John Cena would be Angle's opponent and fans in Chicago were extremely vocal about that last night.

It's said that Corbin was picked by Vince McMahon and that Angle was hoping for a higher profile opponent; he didn't learn that it would be the former RAW General Manager until last night.

There's still a couple of weeks to go until WrestleMania so plans could change but this definitely isn't what anyone was hoping for from Angle's "farewell" bout. Stay tuned for further updates.
