Jeff Hardy is your new United States - not to mention, grand-slam - champion.
After Jinder Mahal was announced as the first SmackDown LIVE Superstar to make the jump to Raw and proceeded to gloat in the ring, GM Kurt Angle put him in a title match against The Charismatic Enigma, and unfortunately for The Modern Day Maharrrrrrrrajah, he was pinned after a Swanton Bomb.
It's not clear whether this was WWE's plan all along, but it might well have been why Mahal won the title in the fatal 4-way bout at WrestleMania.
Regardless, this is great news for Hardy, who had been out of action for months with an injury prior to his return last week.
