Rey Mysterio has shared a message on Instragam in which he confirms that he separated an acromioclavicular joint in his shoulder during his match with Samoa Joe at Money in the Bank on Sunday.

Apparently, WWE is going to address the United States Championship situation on Monday's episode of RAW so we can probably assume that Mysterio will be stripped of the title as he's going to need some time to recover (there's currently no timetable on how long that might take).

Mysterio notes that he separated the joint at the end of the match but hopes to improve with therapy. We'll be sure to keep you guys updated on what happens as we head into Super ShowDown
