During last night's SmackDown Live, a backstage interview with Rey Mysterio saw the Master of the 619 reveal that he will be challenging Samoa Joe for the United States Championship at WrestleMania.

Interestingly, he was joined by his son Dominic (who will reportedly be sitting at ringside) when he made the announcement and common sense says that Joe is going to do something terrible to him! What's particularly odd, though, is the fact Andrade won't be involved in this bout at all.

Leading up to the PPV, it's seemed as if WWE has been building to those two squaring off in what could have been a match of the year candidate.

Now, it appears as if that's no longer the case so we'll just have to wait and see what role Andrade ends up having on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
