It seems like WWE really didn't appreciate Vickie Guerrero's recent appearance on
All Elite Wrestling: Dark as the wife of the late WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero reveals that they've cut ties with her.
The revelation came during the latest edition of her "Excuse Me" podcast when she said,
"I have the podcast and I had asked to interview some Superstars for [the show], and they found out I went to AEW and they don’t even talk to me. Between me and you [David Benoit], they didn’t call me for two years. I haven’t heard from them - what did they expect me to do?"
Guerrero is, of course, referencing a 2018 cameo on
RAW, and so it's not hard to see why she looked for work elsewhere, especially when she's not under contract with the company in any way right now.
"Just to sit here and wait for them to call so I could do some work? I love wrestling," she continued. "I love to work in the ring. And if someone is giving me an opportunity to go and show up and have some fun, then I should be able to because I’m not obligated to anybody."
"When someone told me I couldn’t interview the [WWE] Superstars because I went to AEW, I was just like, ‘Wow, They’re gonna be like that," Guerrero concluded.
While it's easy to see why WWE was upset with Guerrero being part of an AEW show, but this does seem a little petty, especially as nothing she did would have negatively impacted them. Still, it is what it is, and it now seems like we won't see her in WWE for quite some time.
